Throughout the ARS site two terms are used to describe the load bearing
capabilities of our products, Rated Capacity and Working Load Limit.
It is important to understand these two terms when selecting a cargo
restraint solution.
Rated Capacity- The Rated
Capacity is the minimum weight load a component or product will withstand
before failure.
Working Load Limit- A Working
Load Limit (W.L.L.) is the maximum load a component or product should be
subjecting to during normal use. Most state and federal regulations
suggest that for safety purposes, the W.L.L. should not exceed one third
(1/3) of the components' "Rated Capacity."

American Ratchet Specialties agrees to repair or replace any goods which
have been determined to be defective in material and/or workmanship. This
warranty is valid for niniety(90) days from the date of purchase. provided
that writing or oral notice has been given immediately upon the discovery of
the dais defect and the defective goods are promptly returned to A.R.S. This
warranty shall not apply to any goods which have been subjected to misuse,
neglect, or improper application. A.R.S. only obligation shall be to repair,
replace or refund purchase price of any goods which have been proven
defective. A.R.S. will not be held liable for any other damages, delays, or
accidents directly or indirectly resulting from the sale or use of a
defective product. We will make no allowance for repairs or alterations
without written consent. A.R.S has made no warrantees to claim that the
goods are merhantable or fit for any particular purpose. we offer no other
warranties, expressed or implied, which extend beyond the description set
forth herein.
